Rachel Minshull (Principal)

After several years’ involvement in local theatre groups, Rachel trained in drama at the Arden Theatre School in Manchester.

Most of her career to date has involved working within the community, across the age ranges from the very young to senior citizens.

Rachel worked as a teacher for the previous principal and took over the franchise in April 2009. Her plan is to expand the classes into some on the most beautiful areas of south Cumbria and north Lancashire to bring the joy and fun of the Helen O’Grady Academy to many more children and young people.
